Armalight
Armalight is a high intensity light system, which can be switched on or off as required to provide visual recognition and orientation of a wheelchair and occupant in poor visibility conditions, for up to 50 metres. The pads can be used indoors or outdoors. The front facing white beam also lights up the path in front of the wheelchair, like a small torch,in the dark. The integrated power source provides up to 30 hours continual use. Note: Users should not assume that with this improvement in visual definition that others, such as drivers, have seen them. Always take necessary care when crossing the road. Armalight pads can be fitted to manual wheelchair armrest frames with standard UK TSD 1610 type M6 fixing hole centres of 203mm (8"), or European standard 240mm. New M6 screws are provides with Armalight. The screw length is suitable for fitting to round tubular armrest frames of 19-25mm diameter.
